It's talking about The Skywalker Saga. Huh? So The Rise of Skywalker is also the End of Skywalker? That doesn’t make a whole lotta sense. It's possible that the subtitle means that Rey's a Skywalker.

That's a pretty good teaser. I read the night before that J.J. Abrams stated he backtracked some of Rian Johnson's decisions in which Luke Skywalker's blue lightsaber and Kylo Ren's mask have been reconstructed. I'm glad the lightsaber has been restored, but Kylo Ren destroying his mask was good character development; it's upsetting to see that reversed. Other than that, it's good to see Lando back in action and see the new footage of Leia. I hope that laugh at the end doesn't mean Palpatine is back. I actually think it's in keeping with Kylo Ren's personality that he'd regress to his old self after his attempts to lure Rey to his side were rejected in the last film.  He's now super-pissy, and so he goes back to being "just a child in a mask". I agree with everything else you said, though.

Kylo Ren is the only character thats interesting. Couldnt give a toss about any others. Just seeing Rey and Finns facial expressions in that trailer makes me nauseous

I think he's only gonna appear in a dream sequence or something. Like suppose Rey or Kylo or hell both drink some space peyote and go on a vision quest. Boom, there's the senate in front of them.

I'm concerned about having Chris Terrio as a writer on the film. He wrote and won an Oscar for Argo, but he also wrote Batman vs. Superman and Justice League. I just hope the "Argo Chris" showed up for Episode 9.
