Ever since the First Teaser Trailer for "STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER" came out this morning, I have been noticing a lot of people attacking, bashing, and insulting it and also pretty much already deciding before the movie has even come out that it is gonna be terrible.
That has got me wondering whether anybody is actually going to even bother seeing "THE RISE OF SKYWALKER" when it comes out in Movie Theaters in December.
What does everybody else here think ?

I'll see it, but probably not in theaters. Star Wars as a movie going experience has been eclipsed and trumped by Marvel so heavily it's not even slightly comparable anymore. So if there's any Marvel movie coming out somewhere around that time, I'm going to it instead.

Prediction: the movie will make well over a billion dollars, but the whiners will claim it bombed because it didn't make two billion, and will then spread fake news they heard on the YouTube channels of professional haters like Geeks + Gamers claiming that "inside sources" are saying that Kathleen Kennedy is about to get fired.

After seeing this trailer and watching the live streams of Star Wars Celebration yesterday, there is no hope. Mark Hamill didn't even go to Celebration yesterday.

True but to be fair, JJ Abrams could be wanting to keep Mark Hamill out of the spotlight again (just like he did with him for "THE FORCE AWAKENS").

Nope not wasting my money on this film . I bet it'll be garbage too . And I'm not some neckbeard Mens' Right asshole either I swear! lol Just don't like the new Disney Star Wars at all . I guess I'll give SOME love to Rogue One though. The 3rd act was pretty good in that one but what Kathleen Kennedy has done here overall is disgraceful tbh . How in the hell do you fuck up Star Wars so badly?? The new cast is laughably bad as in these Disney SW films . And it looks like they'll be carrying the load for the Rise of Skywalker ugh (and what a shitty title too )
I may eventually get around to renting and watching it on dvd (for free at my public library of course haha) .
