So that post-credit audio thing meant zilch, right?

Did she arrive with Thanos’ forces? I don’t remember. If she didn’t, then she’s still dead from when Thanos killed her, at least in the main timeline. But past timeline Gamora came to the present timeline and helped present timeline Nebula. Then the last we see of her is kicking Quill in the nutsack. I didn't see her at Stark's funeral, and Quill was looking sadly at a hologram of her on his ship. I was thinking maybe she died again on the battlefield and I somehow missed it. Just seems strange to essentially bring her back, only for her to just drop out of the story. I bet she’s alive and Quill will meet her again but she won’t remember the relationship and he’ll have to start over again.

But my God was she powerful. Oh well they’ll just make adversaries tough enough for her. And why was Thanos minus any stones so powerful? I didn’t think he could take on all of them like that. And why couldn’t Hulk dig him and the others from the rubble? It's not inconsistent with Infinity War. When he whooped Hulk's ass, he only had one stone at the time, but never used it. So he had always been tough, which I liked, because the Captain Marvel part was definitely shoehorned in. But I'm glad it wasn't her who killed him, let alone overpowered him completely. Loved the part when she's trying to get the glove off and Thanos just takes the power stone from the glove and hits CM.

Looks like Avengers:Endgame may have already one record to boast....most acting Oscar Winners/Nominees in one film...I count 18

So that post-credit audio thing meant zilch, right? It was more of a nod to Tony back from the first movie when ne he was in the cave building the original suit. One person at the showing I was at last night said he heard Wolverines claws grinding. These people are laughable.

Wow, if the timeline didn't make sense before, this movie takes a baseball bat to it for sure. Wonder how long it will take them to acknowledge it has changed so much. Doesn't look like Far From Home will do it.

I wonder what happened to Peggy's husband.
Did Steve get to live out the Notebook? She had no husband in '45 Or, maybe she did and it was Steve Rogers.

Doesn't look like Far From Home will do it. There is now no timeline. No reliable sequence of events. No character is living and no character is dead. The entire MCU is in a state of superposition. There is no then, when, ever or, never. It's all happening right now. We're in a true multiverse and, Endgame was its Crisis.

However, instead of owning this true multiverse that Steve created by changing so much over the many decades, they let it fizzle for the next movies to address. Which means what will happen is endless shoehorning. This could and should have been handled so much better.

I guess I'll post my review here seeing as it's spoiler enabled:
A
+ - Its levity was great, & just as soon as it felt would take over the whole proceedings, the film eventually did bring back the heavy. Hindsight there simply wasn't room in that final act to laugh much, so frontloading the jokes was fine. Rocket's 'BOOM!' quip was a huge winner for my audience, that was f'n gloriously perfect. To be honest, I appreciated the aged Avengers having to suit up one last time, reminded me a lot of Watchmen. - Thor. Wow, if you had described him last year as a spoiler I would've been mightily afraid. As it is, it went full throttle levity & humour akin Ragnarok which Hemsworth as all in for. Instead of being perfect cosmic specimen, he's Lebowski! - Banner. Instantly thought they'd gone too far, introducing his new self with nothing but humour. I might've expected a more pained backstory, & yet after a few scenes it makes perfect sense. I will have to research stuff online if there ever was a fat Thor & how Hulk merged himself. - Ant-Man cements his legacy in this Infinity Saga. Pretty much pivotal to most every act in this movie. - One of the finest time travel films, & completely went the LOST route of odes via 'flashbacks'. Cap's fight with himself was awesome 'I can do this all day.' 'Yeah, I know.' another great self deprecating gag. What clinched its effectiveness was Cap's elevator scene 2.0. They weren't merely going to quip with the time travel, they were going to drill down. - Joe Russo playing MCU's first openly gay character. Good all around, the director probably volunteering as lightning rod for all the snowflakes hiding online afraid of Falcon or Bucky coming out. - Nat & Clint's fight was incredible. Fighting to kill themselves for everyone else, & done with sincerity & seriousness. - Stark's death was this Infinity Saga's bookend done near flawlessly. I only wish he'd had a final breath of moment with Rogers who was merely in the group as witness. - The denouement was delivered wonderfully. Funeral scene with the entire MCU ensemble, & Roger's final bow. Having Bucky wish Sam the final 1-1 & becoming CA with Bucky witness was brilliant.
- - Finales like this leave little room for dramatic upswing, a la LOTR:ROTK, as there's no path left to travel. EG's 2nd half action of everything & the kitchen sink was a blast, & yet it felt less heavy because we all pretty much already knew the result. - The girl power moment of sorts was fine, & yet it stuck out all the same. Snowflakes will be making threads about it 15yrs from now, even though it was a such a fleeting moment after their joined team up. - I couldn't avoid a washroom break, I went during Hank Pym's scene. - Strange for an earlybird 10:30am first 'day' showtime, a good 70% of ppl began leaving right as credits began rolling. Not sure if they've been onboard the full MCU experience or not, yet they missed the grande cast roll & gave up staying for potential post-credits moment. (yeah I'm sure there are spoilers online, but that's a lot of ppl who bailed)

I felt this wash of anti-SJW videos on YouTube happen.

Cap picking up fat Thor's hammer and using it against Thanos was hands down the high light of the film . My crowd erupted in cheers during that moment. Speaking of fat Thor. WTF was up with that?! Seemed way out of character and so fucking stupid of the Russo's to okay that just for some cheap/dumb laughs . Oh well . Overall it was a pretty good MCU film but I can't rate it higher than 6.5/10.

Have you seen has Dad recently? Odin doesn't exactly cut the slimmest figure. "Fat Thor" is an inevitability. It doesn't take a drop of his fighting and killing prowess away.

But come on, Thor is supposed to be a badass GOD mofo . And the Russo bros reduced him to going out as a whiny/crybaby/little bitch. To me thats very disappointing . He needed a freakin pep talk from a talking raccoon smh.

Aww c'mon...he's had a hard time....recently lost his brother, father, his kingdom/home and half it's population, friends he grew up with, his eye, his beloved hammer and whilst being probably the only person capable of doing so didn't prevent the removal of half the universes population when he he had the opportunity.

If your failure to deliver a killing stroke to a madman at the crucial moment, costing trillions of lives, doesn't cause you any grief or self-pity, hey, good on you, I suspect everyone else would need a pep talk though - even if it had to come from procyonidae. Fat Asgardians are just as lethal as thin ones when they have to be. Not disappointed so much as shocked they'd go there. Thor dresses in drag in the myths, I'm sure a little sobbing would have been preferable to that for most fans.

Correct, it's a giant cluster. However, instead of owning this true multiverse that Steve created by changing so much over the many decades, they let it fizzle for the next movies to address. Steve clearly goes back and screws up the timeline. However, as it appears here at the end of this film its like nothing happens. How long are we expected to keep believing the original timeline is intact? Far From Home should be a good indicator, but who knows how long it will go on for after that if they don't mention it.

When Peggy says she got married in Winter Soldier, she never says to who... Steve's going back and living an incognito life shouldn't have disrupted the timeline beyond repair.
