Documentary-style prologue follows training of O.S.S. agents for WWII work behind enemy lines. One of the group is a German "mole;" leaders Gibson and Sharkey are aware of this and scheme to feed him false info about the invasion of Europe, while the real agents go to France to find a secret V-2 rocket depot. But the German spy outsmarts them and rejoins his people knowing too much; Bob Sharkey takes the risk of going in after him."

Charade is the best Paris film, lots of lovely scenes of the city.

Charade is the best Paris film, lots of lovely scenes of the city. It is indeed ...and rip roaringly great story too ! Fun movie to watch over and over as knowing the secrets (from the 2nd viewing on ) doesn't harm the enjoyment !

Team America saved Paris. Unfortunately, the Eiffel Tower was a complete loss. C'est la guerre.

Not great movies: They both have the Eiffel tower in posters, at least the latter had Alastair Sim. I haven't found pics but others might, at least from back projections: Claudette Colbert's Midnight 1939 Greta Garbo's Ninotchka and it's remake Silk Stockings. Leslie Caron in the real Bois de Boulougne in Gigi.

I don't think Paris has looked as good on screen as it does in Luc Besson's Angel-A
