Lets not laugh yet. The OP predicted Boston in 6. Best they can do now is win in 7 so his prediction would almost be spot on. Let the derision begin.

Boston kept stumbling toward the end of the season and they kept saying “Oh we’ll be fine once the playoffs start.”
But they did not play like a team that really wanted to win. They looked defeated. Bad body language. Teammates didn’t trust each other. They put too much stock in their postseason experience, figuring it would negate the Bucks’ athleticism and drive, and it just didn’t.
This loss could have a dramatic effect on the future of the franchise. If Irving leaves they no longer have incentive to go all-in on AD.

If Kyrie leaves, they're stuck with the team that went to game 7 of the ECF last year as opposed to the team that got its doors blown off in the second round. It's addition by subtraction as far as I'm concerned.

There is no way the team as it is currently constructed without Kyrie is going to compete with the top teams. Also, the Bucks were always the better team. They have been better on both sides of the ball all season and they were again in these playoffs.

They have been better on both sides of the ball all season and they were again in these playoffs. No argument about the Bucks being the better team. And yes they need more to compete in the East, but I disagree about lightning in a bottle. With real leadership and team chemistry, they have a very high ceiling. The top of the East in in flux, Milwaukee aside. Leonard might leave Toronto and the Sixers are a mess because their two top stars are assholes (and Embiid can't stay healthy to boot). The Celtics will be in the mix as long as they get rid of Kyrie's attitude and bring in a solid PG to replace him as well as a decent big. Honestly I'll be happy with a team that's fun to watch, no matter how far they go in the playoffs. Anything will be better than seeing these guys mope around and mail it in all season. They were dead men walking headed down the tunnel during pregame last night, you could see it on their faces.
