What's a movie that you really enjoy that you think isn't very well-liked or talked about? I nominate this one:
I think it's fantastic. The two leads are excellent. It's funny, but also captures some of the very feelings you had in high school (or even younger). Richards Tyson had an excellent screen presence. Should have bad a bigger career. Killer bad guy.

I nominate Split Second (1992). Here's a link to my review on that other site (minor spoilers that are marked), which I actually titled "B-Movie Gem": www.imdb.com/review/rw0313436/

Three O'Clock High is great. It's a shame more people haven't seen it.

A few of mine:
Jewel Robbery (’32)
The Man in the Iron Mask (’39)
The Baron of Arizona
House on Haunted Hill (1959)
7 Faces of Dr. Lao
The Fearless Vampire Killers
The Last of Sheila
The Rocketeer
Radioland Murders
The Edge
Congo
Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow
A Prairie Home Companion
The Lone Ranger (2013)
One recent one I’d never claim was a great movie but of which I was fond was Burton’s Dark Shadows, interestingly enough.

Ill just list some and make some comments...
-The American (2010) - I am aware some people around here think it's solid but it seems to fly off the radar in general and has a fairly low score on IMDb @ 6.3/10 average. it's the lowest rated movie on IMDb I score a 9/10 or higher.
-Angel-A (2005) - this seems to fly off the radar but I think it's easily the directors best movie and better than his more popular ones like... Leon (1994)/The Fifth Element (1997) etc. it only has 29,935 votes on IMDb which is not that many.
-Edge of Darkness (2010) - this seems to fly off the radar to. only has 84,439 votes which while not a small amount it's not really a lot either in comparison to many other movies on IMDb.
-JCVD (2008) - only has 36,070 votes but it's Van-Damme's #1 movie if you ask me.
-Find Me Guilty (2006) - only has 30,953 votes on IMDb. it's one of Vin Diesel's top movies if you ask me.
-The Matador (2005) - only has 42,540 votes but it's one of the best comedies out there in general and my 2nd favorite Pierce Brosnan movie.
-A Man Apart (2003) - only has 42,129 votes and a 6.1/10 average score on IMDb but it's pretty much Vin Diesel's best movie (or close to it). in fact, this movie is basically the lowest ranked movie on IMDb, based on average score, that I gave a solid 8/10 or higher.
-S1m0ne (2002) - only has 56,241 votes and a 6.1/10 average score on IMDb but this movie, along with A Man Apart (2003), are the lowest ranked movies on IMDb based on average score that I gave a solid 8/10 or higher.
-The Color of Money (1986) - only has 67,525 votes on IMDb but it's my #2 movie of the 1980's in general and is the sequel to The Hustler (1961) which is the role Paul Newman was born to play.
-Hostiles (2017-2018) - only has 51,609 votes on IMDb so far but it's my #1 movie of 2018. I think this flies off the radar a bit.
-Men, Women & Children (2014) - only has 27,954 votes on IMDb but is my #1 movie of 2014.
-Kill the Irishman (2011) - only has 41,296 votes on IMDb.
-London Boulevard (2010) - only has 44,462 votes and a 6.2/10 average on IMDb.
-Good Kill (2014-2015) - only has 20,968 votes and a 6.4/10 average on IMDb.
-Some Kind of Beautiful (2014-2015) - only has 11,882 votes and a 5.7/10 average on IMDb. it seems barely anyone has seen this but it's my 3rd favorite Brosnan movie behind The Thomas Crown Affair/The Matador.
-The Salvation (2014-2015) - only has 32,718 votes.
-At Middleton (2013) - only has 7,080 votes with a 6.5/10 average on IMDb, but it's not much outside of my Top 90 movies.
-The Artist and the Model (2012-2013) - only has 1,451 votes with a 6.7/10 average on IMDb but it's not much outside of my Top 90 movies.
-Drive Angry (2011) - it's clearly better than it's 5.4/10 average suggest it is. it's carried by the general cast (Nicolas Cage/Amber Heard/William Fichtner)
-He Was a Quiet Man (2007) - only has 21,308 votes on IMDb. seems to fly off the radar.
-Priceless (2006) - only has 29,034 votes on IMDb but it's much better than the other movie the same actress in that's in IMDb's Top 250 which is Amelie (2001) which is boring.
-The World's Fastest Indian (2005) - only has 48,838 votes on IMDb but it's one of Anthony Hopkins best movies.
-Twister (1996) - I know this movie is not exactly 'hidden' but I think it's underrated as it's a nice fun movie which you just don't really see anymore.
-Rolling Thunder (1977) - only has 6,589 votes on IMDb but it's a solid movie. for the record... Quentin Tarantino likes this one.
-Hard Times (1975) - only has 8,277 votes on IMDb but one of Charles Bronson's best.
-The Last Detail (1973) - only has 19,760 votes but it's better than other more popular Jack Nicholson movies etc.
-The Song of Bernadette (1943) - only has 5,433 votes on IMDb.
some honorable mentions... Miss Bala (2011)/Anthony Zimmer (2005)/Venus in Fur (2013)/In a Valley of Violence (2016)/Seraphim Falls (2006)/Interview (2007)/Dom Hemingway (2013).
etc etc. but I probably covered a good portion of them just quickly going through my favorite movies list.

Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky. Probably my favorite movie to watch with the uninitiated. Never fails to illicit a response within the first 10 minutes. Usually "Damn!" What the hell is this?" or something similar. Full movie on youtube. Go watch it now!
