So, I know you can upload an image from your PC to to this website to use as a profile pic, but is there anyway to upload an image from your PC into a thread post? It seems is you want to put an image in a post you have to link to an image that is already on the internet.

If you have an image you'd like to post that isn't on the internet, there are plenty of image sharing sites out there. Personally, I prefer imgur.

There are attachments but they're disabled because they cap out at 200MB board-wide, which is an absolute pittance. They have a bandwidth cap on top of that which is a reasonable 10GB but both of these limits would be reached in a matter of days. You'll just have to host elsewhere. Like Admin and Dream said, Imgur is best, but you can use TinyPic or Google Drive or whatever floats your boat.

I usually use Postimage OR on rare occasions I use Imgur (as already mentioned by John in this thread).

I have never succeeded in posting an image. I find the need to have a link to an internet site cumbersome. I uploaded a couple of pictures to a site once... the links didn't work. I gave up. Other websites are dead easy compared to this one.
