‘Public pressure’ contributed to Gasly losing Red Bull seat – Horner Christian Horner has revealed that 'media scrutiny' played a significant part in Pierre Gasly’s demotion from Red Bull to Toro Rosso after the 2019 summer break – but said that the switch has given Gasly a confidence boost. Full article here. My opinion is that it was a correct decision to remove Gasly. He was not performing well. That said I am happy that Gasly has redeemed himself. He has been good ever since he left RBR. Yes, he was absolutely terrible in RBR, a lucky podium isn’t going to change that. That said he is better in Toro Rosso than was Albon. He has 40 points in Toro Rosso in 10 races as compared to 7 by Albon and he has more finishes in points. Although Albon is better in RBR than was Gasly.

I liked that the DRS was out for some time. Drivers had to overtake old skool style. The director was absolute crap, there was a big battle between, Perez/Norris and Sainz/the Renaults, and almost nothing was shown. Good result for Max.

Also, I really think Ferrari was cheating, it’s just too much of a coincidence that they lost their advantage after the new technical directives.

If RBR can start a season how they end a season, Max can have a go at it. Ferrari is just going to fuck up, they are very good at that.

Ferrari are talking big, they want him for 2021 - one thing for sure, they will have to get the car right to lure him away from Mercs, mind you doubling his wage from 40 million to 80 million might sway things...

Even though Ferrari had good car and probably the best car on certain tracks they were not as consistent as Lewis. I expect the Ferrari to have better cars next year but I am still not sure Ferrari will necessarily win the next season. As a McLaren fan I am hoping they can improve. Lando seems like one of the nicest guys around.

I vomit at the idea of seeing Hamilton in a Ferrari. I absolutely, totally and completely hate Ferrari. And that is right from the days of Schumacher. I don't want to root against Hamilton but I can't stop hating Ferrari.

Its not like they would admit to cheating, no one in sports ever does.

Its not like they would admit to cheating, no one in sports ever does. It is interesting to see the odds on offer by bookies. If you put 1$ on Hamilton you win 57 cents if he wins the season. If you put 1$ on Leclerc you win $4.5 in profit if he wins the season. If you put 1$ on Bottas you win $5 in profit if he wins the season. If you put 1$ on Max you win $6.5 in profit if he wins the season. If you put 1$ on Vettel you win $6.5 in profit if he wins the season. So they have Hamilton as the favourites. Can Ferrari or Red Bull challenge them? I can't wait. Also, Sundays are more entertaining on race days.

A Ferrari driver losing F1 championship by just 1 point to a non-Ferrari driver is my earnest desire for 2020 season.

Havent a clue. I'll go for the youngest guy whoever that is. Or the first woman F1 driver whenever that happens. I am a McLaren fan so would love to see Lando do well. But still don't think McLaren is a good car. I hope to see a sexy woman drive F1 car some day or even a simple woman will do!
