The bizarre season continues....So Ferrari destroyed every other team in 3 practice sessions. Well, Merc still finds a way to get first and second spots for tomorrow's race.
This says it all.

That first FP session with Russels car getting demolished by a drain cover...well done Baku  I cannot predict a winner(its Baku), but with how this season is going so far, its a Mercedes 1 2. |

This track never ceases to surprise you. I hope Max gets a podium finish. Merc drivers need to thank their strategists for getting them ahead of Vettel. But yeah, I hope Lewis doesn't jump ahead or it would be a less interesting race.

The 2 merc were almost touching each other in the first few seconds.
I think the new Brit driver Lando Norris is a real talent and would be a future champ.

I think Russel is a bit better(based on last years F2 season), but driving a Williams, he can't really show it. But yeah, Norris, talented driver. As I said, a 1 2 for Mercedes. Strong drive by Bottas. Too bad the RBR is not there yet. Max is getting everything out of that car. It seems no team can really get these softer tires to work properly. RBR really seems to have most issues with that. And wtf was Ricciardo doing. He also needs to realise he is not driving a RBR anymore, you can't brake that late in a Renault.

Happy to see anybody but Hamilton win, switched over at 1.05 and there was just helicopter shots of the city and no cars, was back to the football for me

Hamiltons delta during the VSC wasn't good, he lost about 2 seconds with that. As for Vettel and Leclerc, its to early to tell. Today they were on a different strategy and it was clear the medium tyre was the best. So that's why Charles was very fast in the first 20 laps. Vettel was better today and Charles fucked it up in quali. Sometimes I think driving for ferrari isn't fun. There is too much pressure on Vettel for many years now. And yes, I want Max in a better car. Can you imagine what he would do with a Mercedes. I also think Max could have maybe gotten Vettel if it wasn't for the VSC. His tyres lost too much temperature during it and he never got it back.

And yes, I want Max in a better car. Can you imagine what he would do with a Mercedes. I also think Max could have maybe gotten Vettel if it wasn't for the VSC. His tyres lost too much temperature during it and he never got it back. Man, at the moment Bottas is topping Hamilton. Again today. So I imagine Max may be the champion if he were in Mercedes. Probably he could yield a better results with Ferrari than their existing drivers too. But difficult to know that. See the OP for qualification results.
