I can't really say I'm a fan of the poster who responded, but he told you what the rosary beads are for. The "transmitter" crap is all from you. Do you use one? No? Why not? I don't know. Should I?

@eddyhops
I have heard that the holier a person is the more effective their prayers are etc.
but it makes sense in that if a person is holier, they are more united with God. but that's not to say the average person's prayer are worthless as God hears a persons prayer as we need prayer if we are to have a chance at growing in holiness in the first place.
as for getting less time in purgatory... that's done though suffering/prayer/helping others etc. basically one has to make up for the sins they have committed as even after God forgives someone of their sins, there is still temporal punishment due for those sins.
One is not required to pray The Rosary even though I recommend one does pray it.
although with that said... regular prayer (lets say at least some daily prayer etc) is pretty much required as those who rarely or never pray are surely lowering their chances of reaching Heaven and increasing there chances of ending up in hell.
"It is simply impossible to lead, without the aid of prayer, a virtuous life." - Saint John Chrysostom
"Prayer -A soul arms itself by prayer for all kinds of combat. In whatever state the soul may be, it ought to pray. A soul which is pure and beautiful must pray, or else it will lose its beauty; a soul which is striving after this purity must pray, or else it will never attain it; a soul which is newly converted must pray, or else it will fall again; a sinful soul, plunged in sins, must pray so that it might rise again. There is no soul which is not bound to pray, for every single grace comes to the soul through prayer." - St. Faustina

I just thought I would reiterate the fact that beads have always been a tool for praying and/or meditating

Romans had a problem, with the unknown poison called lead. It was in their pipes with indoor plumbing, their dishware, glassware, and so on. What are the effects of lead poisoning?
