Get a grip people, it's just a fucking movie.
I am mad at them. While it is a really douchey move to yell out spoilers. It is sickening and immoral to beat someone up for it. In fact I'd go as far as to call them absolute pieces of human garbage and I will look down on anyone who defends this kind of violent behavior.

Because I would have hit that guy myself. He's flagrantly trying to ruin people's experience, and once the damage is done, it can't be undone talking it out. This guy learned a lesson he wouldn't have otherwise because simple empathy isn't enough for him, and hopefully it sent a message to everyone like him. |

It does kind of show us for the bubble we live in. I'm inclined not to feel too sorry for someone who deliberately sought to ruin everybody's experience by shouting out the end. It kind of makes sense to me that he'd get some licks. But when he turns around and says it's just a movie, he'll be right about it, and right about it being taken too far.
For some of us, it's 20+ movies and more than a decade in the making. I don't particularly want someone to lord their it's just a movie attitude over me. We all know they're just movies, but that doesn't mean they're not important. Movies shape the culture going forward. I'd even argue that entertainment is more serious than ever because of the demand, which reflects how much people need the escape.
So yeah, I don't approve of violence, but fuck that guy. Don't fling shit at a crowd of bulls and expect not to be charged.

LOL, That reminds me of that Episode of "3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN" when the Family was coming out of a Movie Theater after watching an Alien Invasion Movie and they began talking about things that happened in it, during which a long line of people standing behind them still waiting to see that same movie are getting ticked off and upset by them.

LOL, That reminds me of that Episode of "3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN" when the Family was coming out of a Movie Theater after watching an Alien Invasion Movie and they began talking about things that happened in it, during which a long line of people standing behind them still waiting to see that same movie are getting ticked off and upset by them.

Or the Simpsons where they had just watched the Empire Strikes Back and Homer says as he is walking by the line "I cant believe Darth Vader is Luke's father."
There was a notorious troll on Rotten Tomatoes forums who posted 100 thread titles with the spoilers to movies in them. The Crying Game: Jaye Davidson is male. The Usual Suspects: Kevin Spacey is Keyser Soze etc..

He probably wanted to see what would happen. I do crazy stuff just to get beat up sometimes because it's a rush. Hell, I've sliced my own arm open out of boredom. I've been nearly chocked to death on a couple of occasions. Now maybe moviebuffbrad will understand what kind of person he is talking to. So if you provoke me into kicking your ass because you're into it, you're still gonna get mad at me for kicking your ass? I am not sure what that makes me. Very confused probably. I tend to keep the violence to myself. When I feel the urge to hurt someone else, I choose instead to hurt myself. It is more that I find it pathetic behavior - what those guys did and what the guy spoiling the movie did too. The former is far more pathetic to me though.

I would not have hit him, nor make him bleed, but once he ruined it for me, I would have grabbed that pure-evil guy by the neck and dragged him at least 2 blocks so he would not ruined the experience to anyone else.

But that is what he'll say and a lot of people will understand. They might not condone his actions, but if you've never seen a Marvel movie then your first instinct is likely to say so what? Especially in the future, beating somebody up over a movie will make less sense because it was an impulsive emotional response.
