8/10 (not just a pretty boy actor) His filmography is full of good to great performances . My favs being either Jesse James or Tyler Durden.

He's bad in it no matter who he was assigned to play or how much worse most of the rest of the movie is. I find him a bit bad at the end of Se7en as well actually, but hard to call an entire performance bad for one scene. |

Solid highs, cheesy lows. Jesse James & Basterds are great performances, as is 12 Monkeys.

It was a horrible movie, pretty much made to be horrible, and Pitt played the horrible part as he was directed to. Horriblty Actually I remember Mull being one of the less terrible performances. He basically just stumbled through woods the whole movie. Pitt is Oscar worthy in comparison to Donovan Jr, though. |

He is excellent when playing characters who are a bit nuts or when playing quirky comedy characters.
When he is required to play more normal people he is still good, but a bit on the boring side.
He also is inconsistent in many movies, most notable Interview with the Vampire. He has goes back and forth between good and mediocre in that movie.
I personally think he is fantastic in the final scene of Se7en. It is easily his best acting in the entire movie.
