JFK Schindler's List Saving Private Ryan (impressive and innovative, but The Thin Red Line should have won) Titanic The English Patient A River Runs Through It (a bore, but a beautifully lit bore) American Beauty Dances with Wolves (I like the film, but while the vistas are beautiful, there's nothing truly outstanding about the lensing) Braveheart (ugly)
I gave up on Legends of the Fall, many years ago. From what I recall it looked nice, but all at the service of nothing.
