It's amazing in the early 90s the WWF had the WWF Champ and former NWA, AWA and WCCW Champs on their roster in the upper card.
I really think it was a missed opportunity - Hogan, Flair, Martel, Hennig, Von Erich - a shame they didn't play off the Champ vs. Champ angle like they initially did with Flair coming in and Heenan holding the belt stating the real champ is coming. i.e. kind of like a round robin tournament with Von Erich vs. Hogan, Flair vs Martel (was shocked to find they fought in Japan in a Champ vs. Champ match), etc etc etc.....
Von Erichs are tragic story - apparently this is KVR's last taped match - in some dump (believe it was a hotel) in Philly.
