Social media tends to bring out any latent insanity in people it seems. It may end up being one of the most dangerous things ever invented. Encourages behaviour one wouldn't dream of otherwise.

Exactly! ; but since James Woods is on the right they are quick to ban but if someone on the left does it, it's generally not that big of a deal. like if they do remove those on the left they are far more lenient with them before moving to a ban where as a conservative they are too quick to ban someone. that's a problem.

personally I would pretty much let people say what they want but keep it within reason (even if they go a little overboard I would still likely let it slide (whether your conservative or liberal) as I am more of the mindset I would rather let people speak their mind than be quick to ban them for every little thing you disagree with) as #HangThemAll in regards to politicians is not a ban worthy comment if you ask me (although I imagine some will try to claim it incites violence etc. but I tend to see comments like that as more of them venting their frustration with politicians more than them literally meaning for people to go out and hang politicians) since many people don't like politicians in general and I kind of assume he's just venting a bit as he's frustrated with politicians is all.

I could maybe see moving to a ban if he's constantly suggesting violence towards others but a little suspect comment here and there, like his #HangThemAll, is not worth banning someone over it as, like you said, people have done far worse.


p.s. but just a general comment here... the world is getting less tolerant of Christian/conservatives, since the world is getting more anti-Christian, so things sort of like this tend to be more likely to happen...

so those who promote the truth of Jesus Christ, tend to be hated by those who love the world and their sin etc and refuse to change.

NOTE: I am not saying James Wood is a saint or anything, or that conservatives are perfect (as we are ALL sinners regardless of which side of the political field one is on), but that quote from the bible above I think plays inline with conservatives in general since liberals tend to be more of that worldly type given their views on abortion (for the record... abortion is murder) and other major moral issues Jesus Christ is against (euthanasia etc) and like I always say, once someone is on the wrong side of the abortion issue they tend to be backwards in many other moral areas to since their moral foundation is subjective (they basically makes things up as they go along and those who do this decline with enough time) and not really based on the truth of Jesus Christ. so the left makes it easier for immorality/chaos to flourish (which is a natural effect when someone opposes God's way of living etc), especially lately as they go off-the-rails further left. the left just wants more control over the common person since the 'progressive left' are pretty much communists when you cut through the BS.
