Unlikely but not impossible. We need bloody answers as to where she went after the end of Rebels!

Why would she be?

No. Very doubtful. Ahsoka is Filoni's hallmark. Kathleen Kennedy doesn't care about her or want her in the live action films. She had a chance to borrow some of the successful heroine traits of the Ahsoka character and incorporate them into Rey in TFA. Instead, she and Abrams steered the writing of the Rey character firmly in the direction of a Disney warrior princess. I don't see it happening. And they would probably see Ahsoka as competing with Rey's attention. Even if it was a cameo.

Are we asking here if a cartoon character, who 95% of the cinema going public would have no idea about, should be mentioned in the final film of a supposed nine film saga, having never been mentioned at all in any of the previous eight films?

You can't hold it against them for not including a cartoon character in the movies. That's not a valid criticism.Look, you like the cartoon? That's fine. That's cool man, I mean it. I'm not crazy about them from what I've seen, but I like some cartoons to. I'm not judging.I was reading a ton of the new comics for a while and have recently started to really familiarize myself with them. I like them. But all that extra stuff? The kind of thing that falls under an expanded universe? It doesn't count. No major motion picture studio is going to make an effort to make sure their film aligned with some cartoon or book, nor should they. You're just looking for an opportunity to bash Kennedy and Abrams.

Right? If she were I would be surprised! Her presence in the shows is pre-OT. Why the hell would she show up in an unrelated MOVIE like 50 years later? Plus...I mean, she's some EU type of character. Never gonna crossover.

First of all, I never said Ahsoka should make a cameo. I just outlined why it probably won't happen. You call Ahsoka a EU character only grounded in comics and cartoons. That's true. However, the CWAS (Clone Wars animated series) is canon. She is a canon character which is more than a throwaway EU non-canon character. And canon EU characters have crossed over into the onscreen movies before. Boba Fett is a EU crossover character. Saw Gerrera is a EU crossover character. So from that standpoint it's not as absurd as you portray it to be. What does Kathleen Kennedy have to do with the Ahsoka character? When Lucas made the CWAS, Kathleen Kennedy shadowed him in the production. That was because Lucas was grooming her for the takeover before he sold to Disney. So (apparently unbeknownst to you) Kennedy was very familiar with the Ahsoka character. She even made praiseworthy comments about the character at that time. But like I said, the writing of the Rey character went in a very different direction and it's fairly obvious that she didn't draw on Ahsoka's heroine traits at all. And Kennedy never even acknowledges Ahsoka since Disney confirmed her appointment as head of LucasFilm. If, and I emphasize if, they were to do an Ahsoka cameo, the biggest problem would be the chronology. At this point she would be fairly old. Older than Luke was.

You may be of the opinion that it is not. But every authority from George Lucas to the current heads and PTB at LucasFilm and Disney have said that CWAS is canon. Don't believe me? Research it for yourself. You can argue with them about it.
