Once Disney finally makes their own X-Men show, do you want them to have some kind of team uniform the way the Fox movies did or do you prefer more individualized costumes the way the animated show did?

I posted this before. It's an artist's version (he works on video games like Shadow of War) of a MCU Wolverine. I think something like this could work pretty well.

I think individually teamed uniforms, also. Not really personal uniforms like the Avengers, but uniforms with a singular theme to them. Uniforms that show their personality and goes with their powers, but you can tell they are all on the same team.

I wouldn't mind personalized costumes. I think they should do it where the older members seem more uniform while the students have more creative designs. Except Wolverine because he doesn't follow the rules.

There'll be phases just like the Avengers had, new suits in nearly every new film. They'll probably start out very individualized, slowly becoming more team oriented as time passes.

Individualized suits are half the fun of comic book characters. The generic team suits are awful.

This is an issue that is bound to generate a lot of controversies no matter what shape the upcoming X-Men films take tonally. I think you have to look at the X-Men thematically to make the right call and not leave this issue to the whims of fan preference.
If the Avengers are Rock n' Roll, the X-Men are more punk rock. Their status as outsiders dictates that they have individualized costumes that reflect who they are more than any institution they belong to.
That said, I wouldn't mind seeing the X-Men wear consistent uniforms (at the behest of Professor X) near the beginning of the new franchise. Xavier has generally felt that he's running a pseudo paramilitary organization with an informal command structure.
As the series progresses and the students form their own ideas about Xavier's vision and their place in the world, it would make sense for each member to take on more individualized battle gear.

I still want the outfits from the end of Apocalypse.
