I actually only liked 2 things about the 1998 "GODZILLA" Movie.
The Beginning when the Monster (No way I am calling that thing "Godzilla", That was NOT "Godzilla") attacked the Japanese Tanker Ship and then 20 Minutes Later when he pulls those 3 Fishing Boats underwater.
At the same time though, The Number 1 Thing that I hated the most about that Movie was the fact that the Movie begins with the Monster attacking a Japanese Tanker Ship "in the South Pacific Ocean" and then 25 to 30 Minutes Later in the Movie, The Monster is in New York City.....I mean GIVE ME A FREAKING BREAK!!!

This travesty is available in 4K while several legitimately good to great movies aren't even on regular Bluray. Oh, the humanity.

The DVDs of The Abyss and True Lies are still both not even enhanced for widescreen TVs. While I'm not a huge fan of either, there's no excuse for that. Visually, they're both fantastic movies that deserve top-notch treatment for home video. And The Abyss was a ground-breaking movie in terms of SFX, that led directly to Terminator 2 and eventually some rampaging dinosaurs.

Many seem to not care for this version of Godzilla, but it's one my go to movie when I want a monster movie. That and Rampage.
