I don't think we really got enough time between them for anybody to really get invested in their love story. Now, we're going into the series finale and it's built up now to be Jon vs Dany and I feel like there is meant to be more feelings/emotions on us as viewers because of what was their previous love story. I am seeing how Jon needs to kill her because she's "his heart" or something. Yet I'm sitting here watching them and I don't feel invested at all in their love story. If Dany was to be killed by somebody that loved her and we truly saw how they loved her wouldn't it have been better for Jorah to be the one to do it had he not died at Winterfell? I feel like him having to do that after witnessing what happened at Kings Landing would FAR feel more impactful than Jon doing it.
Thoughts?

there is no love story between dany/jon thats why you are not "seeing" it or "feeling" it , jon was playing her enough to get help for the WW war , now he sees her for what she really is - the cold blodded evil mosnter ,and what sansa and arya warned him about -not trusting her probably replaying their words in his mind over and over, you can see it in his face when he was looking in shock at all the char coaled bodies on the ground.
If jon kills her wont be because he loves her , will be because he loves someone else she will be betrayed for the love of someone else .

For whatever reason, this and the last season, were rushed because they were trying to wrap things up. If they'd just let the show breathe a little more, a few more episodes, I think we would get what you're describing and the fans wouldn't be so up in arms.

It’s weird I actually buy it from Danys perspective but not Jons. Not just because the character actions but I think Emilia Clarke is better at portraying emotions than Kit Harrington.

Not really acting then lol they are married in real life and actually fell in love while they were filming together season 2 , but thats a good point when jon was with ygritte he was different with her even though he betrayed her in the end but when he told ygritte he loved her i think he meant it , even though she shot arrows of love at him with dany is a little different he seems cautious fearful not to piss her off unlike ygritte this one has a dragon that breaths fire

Rushed. Could have been great. That's one of the things I always knew the story was headed towards.
