*Sigh* this again. Lemme tell you something. The Mandarin switcheroo in IM3 was so bad it was the Talia Al Ghul moment for the MCU.

Yeah, they kinda missed their window there now that Ironman is gone.
I still can't believe the twist in IM3 got the go signal. Did none of the executives read the script and point out how it was such a ridiculously bad idea?

The twist in Iron Man Three is probably the best and most well written moment in the entire mcu. If they ever use the real racist caricature, it'll be the last time I watch an mcu movie.

No, it’s just Shane Black trying to be cheeky. Instead it came across as bad as the reveal in your standard Shyamalan film. Besides, the version we had already been introduced to was a great interpretation w/o feeling racist anyway. So the twist is useless.

What was wrong with the Talia Al Ghul reveal? It was kinda pointless.

What was wrong with the Talia Al Ghul reveal? It was kinda pointless. How was it pointless? Her giving the wrong coordinates to the bomb was the reason Batman ended up having to fly it out of Gotham.
