I realize not everyone thinks Heath was the best, but he'll get too many votes anyway.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan Watchmen Phoenix might in Joker. Joaquin could be thug #2 in any superhero movie and still have a chance.

Frank Langella = number 1.
Masters of the Universe was a comic book as well as a toy. It's not only the best performance in a comic book movie but also the best performance of a toy.

I don't see amy conceivable way it could flop. The critics could tear it to shreds and it would still dominate. The Joker is the most beloved, iconic and recognizable characters in the history of anything.

With Suicide Squad, I think word got around that Joker is barely in it and that the rendition of the character was awful. That along with the movie being torn to pieces. But SS never looked promising to me. Joker does.

Chloe Moretz & Nic Cage - Kick Ass Gary Oldman & Aaron Eckhart - Dark Knight Trilogy (at least as good as Ledger) Patrick Stewart - Logan Andy Serkis & Michael B Jordan - Black Panther - Not my fave MCU film by a long shot, but these two were great. I actually think the casting and & performances in the MCU films have generally been great.

I am excited about De Niro and Beetz but it looks like Phillips said gee im going to do my rendition of King of Comedy and Taxi Driver as well.

Far and away the best performance ive seen from him. Though he is good in In the Company of Men, TDK was next level for him.
