For the scattered who still give a damn, the 144th Run for the Black Eyes Susans. The Winner of the Kentucky Derby, the horse that crossed the finish line 1st are siting it out. Along with big three year olds, Tacitus, Code of Honor and Omaha Beach. The refugees from the rendering plant who are still running are...
Improbable 5-2 War of Will 4-1 Anothertwistafate 6-1 Alwaysmining 8-1 Owendale 10-1 Bourbon War 12-1 Warrior's Charge 12-1 Win Win Win 15-1 Bodexpress 20-1 Laughing Fox 20-1 Market King 30-1 Signalman 30-1 Everfast 50-1
Improbable is the big star. Probably the biggest name still in the field and Baffert is going for umpteenth Preakness in a row. Poop on the favorite. The man who picked the real KD winner is saying
Owendale War of Will Improbable
Going with the fresh nag. If any of you win money, my cut is 25%. That's reasonable.

Poor renewal, hard to get excited about it. I'm backing War Of Will as its form figures don't tell the whole story and Gaffalione is my favourite jockey in the States. Then it will be Owendale for the each way punt as it's an improving sort and is value if you can get double figure odds (UK).

If somehow that riderless horse won, would it have counted?

WoW might be going for the triple crown if not cut off in the Derby, That's why I backed it for The Preakness, was looking set for a run into the places at least in the KD. So happy for The Gaffa, the world could be his oyster if he keeps himself professional.

If you enjoy horse racing, you support animal abuse.

If you enjoy horse racing, you support animal abuse. Sport OF Kings? Seriously? Alright then, I'll withdraw my monthly donation to the RSPCA.

If somehow that riderless horse won, would it have counted? Nope, it's officially a DNF. Would've made for great theater, though.

Nobody got a thread up for The Belmont?
Anyway, most likely be Tacitus for the race, no great value but it looks primed for it. War Of Will done me a right turn winning the Preakness but I'm not sure this race will be run to suit.

I completely forgot about the Belmont. I don't know the last time I didn't catch a TC race.
