Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid Road to Perdition Jennifer 8Interesting choice. That movie really angers me though. It's a good movie until the last act. Roger Ebert said it perfectly with this quote. "Jennifer 8 promises a plot of excruciating complexity, but the storyline turns relentlessly dumb."

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid Road to Perdition Jennifer 8Interesting choice. That movie really angers me though. It's a good movie until the last act. Yeah, the ending wasn't of the same quality as the rest of the movie (studio interference maybe?), but it wasn't bad enough for me to not like the movie overall. Like you said, it's a good movie until the end.

Road to Perdition (2002)that's the gold standard of great cinematography paired with great moments and score in a movie. it's partially why I call it a masterpiece which is a word I rarely use.
p.s. but in general there are not many movies that stand out from a all around cinematography stand point especially with the movie being something I would score a 7/10 or higher to even though I will acknowledge that there are some movies that are solid visually even though the overall movie itself is average at best. but it seems like, for the most part, the movies that stand out tend to be good at creating a general atmosphere/mood through the visual style of the movie although there are just not that many of these kinds of movies out there as even if I look strictly at movies I consider favorites, which is currently 160 movies, not that many of those would stand out to me as 'strong cinematography' even though some are a bit better than others etc.

In Cold Blood as far as his movies go, but I think his work on The Outer Limits was the most amazing thing he ever did.
