So Greyworm, leader of the Unsullied go back to Essos.... He's pissed. The Dolthraki goes back to Essos.. They have to be pissed. They have to tell Daenerys' boyfriend, who has his own army, that she was murdered... He's pissed.

Smartass Tyrion saved the world from all selfish and power-hungry endeavours for the remaining of time. That's how dumb they want you to be. That's how disgusting that ending was.

There is nothing either country has that the other one needs.
Essos appears to be both more populous and wealthier but it also has few loyalties. The slave lands that Dany controls could come back but they were never invested in the Westeros part of Danys plan.

Nobody wanted what Austria had.... but that didn't stop the world from going to war when Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated.. Austria had something somebody wanted. But that war started due to borders and treaties. Essos is not united among themselves. They would have to do a Mance Rayder and pull a bunch of disjointed groups together for a common cause and lots of those groups hate Dany. If the mercenary group leaves Mereen, a city larger than Kings Landing, they lose Mereen for a prize that isn’t worth as much and still could lose. I would argue that the books make it very clear that Essos has always been the more powerful and richer than anything Westeros has to offer but individuals are made more powerful in Westeros which is why it’s always so fragile even when Targaryens ruled.

They're angry, but they aren't going to do anything yet. Knowing how this series works, I guarantee that in 15/16 years, Daario will find some kid with white hair, claim he is Dany and Drogo's long lost son, and play a repeat of the JonCon/Aegon thing and invade. The Dothraki and Unsullied will have their backs.
Add in that around the same time, Jon's kids will rightfully feel cheated, and Sansa's kids will think they should be Bran's heirs, Westeros will be right back where it started with the War of the Five Kings. Thanks, Tyrion.

I've forgotten.

It is. Naath is not part of it: Essos seems to be a pretty big place. Thanks for the map. It’s bigger than the square. It’s the whole continent.

Essos seems to be a pretty big place. Thanks for the map. It’s bigger than the square. It’s the whole continent. So Arya basically is sailing in the direction of Essos.

It’s bigger than the square. It’s the whole continent. So Arya basically is sailing in the direction of Essos. Unknown. There could be lands between Westeros and Essos.

It’s bigger than the square. It’s the whole continent. So Arya basically is sailing in the direction of Essos. She's going west of Westeros, so she's sailing away from it technically, but assume it's a globe I imagine she'll get there eventually. In the books, the reason it's not mapped is because no one has ever returned or never got far enough to see anything. Basically, all humans in Westeros descend from Essos but nothing has come from further west since it's so hard to get to.

In an earlier post on this thread someone said the Dothraki were going back to Essos. So if they are from Essos it can't be said no one has ever come back from there.

So Arya basically is sailing in the direction of Essos. Unknown. There could be lands between Westeros and Essos. No chance. When a fictional character goes out of an invented map, their fate is undefined. That's basic logic Furthermore, if said character sails faster than the author writes, they escape the event horizon and can never be written about any more. It's a tragic fate for Arya…
