I can think of two cool ideas regarding Godzilla and other monsters. Maybe do one set in very early Ancient Egyptian times or Sumerian. Godzilla rising out of what is now the Persian Gulf getting ready to destroy the city of Ur would be pretty amazing. Or stomping his way up the Nile Delta and destroying the then new pyramids would be a sight to see. Another thing I was thinking about was a post apocalyptic monster film where the monsters have destroyed most of humanity and duke it out among the ruins of New York City or Tokyo with a small band of humans trying to avoid being extinct. BRILLIANT! |

Just out of curiosity, how do you see them defeating him, or chasing him off?
I'm thinking they set up a giant Staff of Ra, and hit him with a massive beam of light.

We have to have a reason for their fighting.
Watching a bunch of monsters fighting without it being a video game would be incredibly boring.
People are the connection and it is a flaw of storytelling that tries to emphasize the fighting.

My unoriginal self says that they could burn pitch and drive him back into the sea with lots of fire. Or if the writer really wanted to get creative the Egyptians could invoke the gods and maybe Horus or something could step in...  |
