Joaquin Phoenix comes to mind first, he recently played Jesus Christ in this year's 'Mary Magdalene', in real life he is an atheist.

Luckily he is an actor, he can likely do some sort of acting to pretend he is the person in question, with a user name like yours though I think the more pressing question is will Joseph be a main character in the TV series or just cameos/guest character, I kind of hope for the later, give us a more wholistic view of Mega-city One and it's world.

I think the champion must be Max Von Sydow. Despite his crippling atheism he was still able to play Christ in "The Greatest Story Ever Told", the Devil in "Needful Things", the title role in "The Exorcist", an angel in "What Dreams May Come", and Pope Clement VII in "Una vita scellerata".
Next up: Childless actors who have played parents, followed by actors who were never in the army but played soldiers.

Laurence Olivier played Zeus in Clash of the Titans, but I bet he didn't believe in the Greek Pantheon.

It seems he's had a long fairly active career even during the time he was an atheist IF his statement means he started believing there was a god later on.
Except for his divorce, I can't find any distraction in his private life. I might have missed something.

But, of course there really can't be any honest-to-nobody atheists.
It appears some theists seem to have a need to either discredit atheists, dispute atheism, and/or deny atheist even exist. I'm not sure where that need comes from. If there is a god and someone is utterly convinced of that fact, what is it to them if someone else foolishly (in their opinion) doesn't believe it? Maybe they think by pointing out problems with atheism, they'll cause someone who thinks they are an atheist to stop thinking that and admit that, indeed, they really do believe.
It is kind of funny that this guy first claims he proves that atheists can't even exist, then proceeds to discuss them as if they really do exist. It's not unlike the atheist who swears on a stack of comic books that God doesn't exist, then proceeds to criticize God and make fun of him.
