Had it done this morning and they let me go home after a few hours ( day surgery) painkillers are wearing off now and it's bloody painful. Got a different stent in now with a string hanging out which I have to have pulled out ( no anaethetic, yikes!) Next friday as an out patient. Apparently got more stones in kidneys though so got to attend a clinic and see whats what, they are borderline size whether they can be passed, perhaps they will do ultrasound or something. Glad it's done, but going to be an unpleasant couple of days.

Thanks for the kind wishes to all. And to Vitalis for not being to harsh on my genitals which are heavy tapes to keep string in place. They have given my a whole reel of plaster tape, replacing it each day is going to be a real bundle of laughs.  |
