...thread Somebody else can start the game thread tomorrow but heres somewhere to post all the other buildup news Anybody know how many underdogs have won the CL since it began? 2005 was an underdog win, how many others? ........................ Liverpool's Klopp & Tottenham's Pochettino on semi-finals www.bbc.com/sport/football/48451534....................... Can Tottenham turn a Liverpool strength into a weakness? www.bbc.com/sport/football/48388791Chelsea in 2012 in Munich definitely. Milan beating Juve in 2003 probably marginal. Marseille beating Milan and Milan beating Barcelona in the 90s.

Jurgen Norbert Klopp appears very calm and relaxed as he takes to the podium where two of his players, Arnold and Robertson have been answering questions at the press conference.
After saying that Saturday night will be a very different ball game to last year's CL Final defeat to Real Madrid, Klopp first deals with the Firmino issue. "He's fit and he's trained. He should be fine."
How does he feel about Liverpool being favourites? "The games against Tottenham this season - it was 2-1 both times. There's no advantage before the game but we can work for opportunities in the game tomorrow - but only tomorrow. Not in this moment. The boys performed in last season's final against clear favourites, but last year we surprised ourselves by being in the final.
"We were always flying at home but really under pressure at Manchester City, at Roma, that's the main thing we had to develop in our approach, our tactics, how to behave in different situations but you don't want to kill your skills. We still have fantastic football games, the boys made this step - that's the reason for 97 points, they've been really consistent and tomorrow we should be consistent again."
You've never won a European Final, have you? "Since 2012, apart from 2017, I was with my team in a final. Sometimes by luck, but in the last seven years I am world record holder in winning semi-finals. I'm a normal human being."
And off he goes to the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium for his team's final training session before kick-off.
Poch is now on his way to his own conference, coming up later.

MoPo has rocked up a few minutes late and takes his seat.
'What is your team going to be?' is the almost rhetorical first question, adjoined by the much less ridiculous 'Will Harry Kane start?' "I told before, they don't know. We have one training session now and then we decide."
Have you lost weight? is an odd question to throw in. Poch stands up, smiles, and strikes a suitably agreeable pose. Yes, he does seem to have thrown off a few pounds, you have to say.
He goes on : "The journey to the final has been unbelievable. The focus, concentration, it's a pleasure to manage this group of players.
"I feel so proud, they were unbelievably open to work and accept everything from us. We are so ready, tomorrow it is about being ready to run, to compete, to enjoy.
"The moment you get to the final its about winning the final. We respect our opponent, Liverpool are a great team, along with Man City they are the best in England. One year ago they were in the final. Full credit to Jurgen Klopp, they have unbelievable players and are a great club."
He is pressed again on team selection : "It's difficult, you need to take a decision and tomorrow is another decision. We have all the information, we will use every detail to try to win. The whole squad will be on the pitch before the game tomorrow. Respect must be massive for the players who are going to be selected. It is always a tough decision but it's part of my job."
To another journo : "We must play with freedom - when you play as a child with freedom, not think one billion people are watching you."
And to yet another : "There were fine lines against Man City, against Ajax, we're not the best in the world because we won those games nor would we be the worst in the world if we'd lost. It comes down to fine lines and our team became very robust from the start of this season. We have shown if you believe, if you work hard, you can succeed."
Poch is most articulate today, a far cry from his first season at Spurs when the familiar sight of him being joined by a translator was a given in the MOTD post-match interview segment. He goes on to praise his opposite number : "For Jurgen to be here 10 months ago and be here again now is special. I admire Jurgen a lot. He's a very good example. Maybe he has been a little bit unlucky, but it is the third time he is going to arrive at this final - the most difficult thing is to arrive at the final."
And that's our lot from Kloch...until tomorrow evening.

Cheers, Fury! Hoping for an epic game tonight - I know we're the underdogs but in the words of Spurs legend Jimmy Greaves, it's a funny old game. Whatever happens, I'm proud of my club.
