You were definitely right about Dany all along and way back , I can't believe how blind some fans are they still think of her as the rightful ruler dismissing Jon calling kit all these names , it's like war on social media really really nasty people .

Some of it is just good role playing fun, I suppose, but I have seen a lot of blind love for characters and a lot of serious defence of what they do. Fictional stories are mirrors showing us how we feel about their parallels in life. They have strong educative character, shaping personalities. Next to the playful fans who consciously "root for the badass" because they're fun, there are plenty who sincerely, seriously take sides and adopt their favourites as models.
This post after S5E09 was written as a reply to discussions about the "positive" function of the faceless men after Arya got the mission to kill some allegedly dodgy businessman without any form of investigation or trial. It also followed the violent crashing down of the "Stannis the Mannis" fun. Dumb little shits were fine with him burning all sorts of people as long as it wasn't his daughter. They got their stupidity thrown in their face as the story always did and I knew it would eventually do it to Daenerys fans too. GRRM is not subtle. Of course, butthurt little fucks blamed D&D for it, then and now. You still see Stannis fans claiming at every turn that "he is still alive in the books", as if it would change anything that is planned to happen, as if this story was not designed to prove fools wrong at every turn.
