Every year the BBFC publish a list of the top films to get the most complaints to them in Britain.
9. Venom -6 people complained about the 15 rating as it prevented under-15 fans, and parents' kids from seeing it.
8. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom -6 people complained about young kids being brought to watch it, despite it being a 12A which meant they could see it with adults.
7. Ready Player One -10 people complained about swearing and horror scenes being too strong for a 12A rated movie.
6. Love Simon - the trailer -18 people compained. All had issues with teenage sex and relations being discussed in a PG-rated trailer. 11 took issue with the protagonist being gay, believing gay relationships weren't appropriate to be showed at PG-rated level.
5. Show Dogs -31 people complained about a scene in which a police Rottweiler, going undercover at a dog show, has to let his genitals be inspected (a common practice in dog shows). The complainants were making similar protests to blogs going round at the time, thinking this scene might influence kids into lowering resistance to sexual predators touching them inappropriately.
4. Kaala -43 people complained - not really about content, they had issues with the filmmakers actions.
3. A Northern Soul -3 letters, and 45 postcards of protests about the harshness of the 15 rating, all feeling the casual strong language is normal at the age of 12, and there's no need to be overly strict about it.
2. Peter Rabbit -50 complaints. 4 about violent and upsetting scenes, the rest about a scene in which rabbits throw fruit at a guy hoping to provoke an allergic reaction. At PG rating, this was deemed by many of the complainers to be unsuitable for kids as they might emulate such behaviour.
1. Red Sparrow -64 complaints about the 15 rating being too lenient for some of the violence and sexual violence scenes.

I wouldn't complain if I were a Brit. Got enough trouble without the Thought Police showing up at my door.

I thought Brits were more socially liberal and less fundie than Americans. To be fair, just 18 people moaning out of 60 million ain't bad is it.

It tells us that British people don't really make complaints about films. A totally insignificant 0.0000299% complained.

If you know anything statistics you'd be aware of sample polling, where a small sample group can represent the general population.

I dunno...
I think if you think a movie sucks... sure... For you, it sucks... Complain away. Tell us how you feel.
If a movie offends you... then, don't watch the movie ever again. Live and learn.
It's when you whine about how you think that the movie should offend others... and you won't shut the fuck up about it... and/or try to get it banned to others won't be able to see it for themselves.. is when I have a real problem with you being a WAFFLE.

Are you actually surprised that there are people in the UK who would complain about a film like Love, Simon being available to be seen by children? There are many people over here who would love seeing Thatcher’s Section 28 come back into law. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Section_28

Heterosexism is endemic to all of Western civilization. It strikes me as hilarious that even most heterosexual atheists are homophobic. It's as if Leviticus is ingrained in your psyches even if you reject the Bible.

The Koran was influenced by the Bible. Actually, I am going to be bold here, it's them Jews that are to blame.

Yeah but to be fair, this is not sample polling, this is simply those people who felt strongly enough to complain, its not really comparable to a poll.
