But is he the main character in that movie, or did the sequels just make him the main character because of Peter Sellers' performance? I remember The Pink Panther being an ensemble movie. That is what I just said.

The first one is more of an ensemble. The second one is where Clouseau became the true main character. That is what I just said. I know, I was just confirming it.
