I've never seen Magda or Mamma Jolie in anything. Have they ever acted, and were they any good?
As for the other two, well, I think that Zsa Zsa was the better of the two, but not by much. She was pretty good as Jane Avril in MOULIN ROUGE, with Jose Ferrer. Eva's best movie role was undoubtedly Liane in GIGI, but later, she focused more on TV. Sorry to say, but I find her character of Lisa Douglas to be a royal PITA, but then, I can say the same for the entire cast!
They are most famous for their numerous marriages and affairs. In a way, they were like the Kardasians: "famous for being famous".
Your thoughts?

Zsa Zsa's hedge is mentioned in EARTHQUAKE--the cop tells George Kennedy that he drove his squad car into it and so GK punches him out.

George Sanders married and divorced two of them, so I guess he had a thing for Gabors.
When Eva Gabor starred with Eddie Albert on Green Acres, they were friendly but often clashed over their personal beliefs. Albert was a committed environmentalist and animal activist who was dedicated to eliminating the use of DDT, which was harmful to fish and sea birds, and Gabor would mock him for going out and making speeches about ecology "every time a fish gets sick." When Gabor chose to wear an outfit on the show which consisted of thousands of feathers, Albert was offended and took her aside to request that she not wear it, as it would encourage her fans to emulate her and lead to endangering the lives of birds. Gabor protested that he didn't know what he was talking about, as the feathers didn't come from birds. Where DID they come from, then? Albert asked. "Pillows, dahling, pillows!" Gabor replied. I guess the blithering idiocy wasn't just an act.

In some films, Zsa Zsa appears as herself and why not? When did she ever create a character that was not her. 1967's "Jack of Diamonds" opens with cat burglar George Hamilton scaling a high-rise to steal jewelry from Zsa Zsa, playing herself. Zsa Zsa, never less than a total embarrassment, is in full "dahling" mode as she reports the break-in to the cops. I can barely stand to watch a Gabor in anything. Poor George Sanders.

To be honest, I find their Hungarian accents to be thoroughly nerve-grating! With all their years in the US, you'd think that their voices would be modified to some degree. I imagine that their vocal inflections were deliberate, as part of their "charm".
