Orlando Bloom (hey what happened to him?) and Cara Delevingne star as the leads in the new series. The plot sounds strange to say the least:
Set in the city of Burgue, mythical creatures fleeing their war-torn homeland have gathered in the city and tensions are simmering between citizens and the growing supernatural immigrant population.
Delevingne plays faerie refugee, Bloom is a human detective named Rycroft Philostrate who rekindles a dangerous affair while investigating a string of murders that threatens to upend an uneasy peace.

Looks kinda interesting. I have no idea if it'll be any good, but the teaser makes me want to at least give it a try.

That doesn't look very good. Another silly fantasy completely removed from reality.
I'm gonna go watch Star Wars.

Cara whatever is a shitty actress and really boring in general. Millennials seem to adore her tho thus she's no longer just a crack whore/junkie/model and gets to make bad movies and shows even worse. Yay?

I am watching it now. It's good. But it's very dark, grimy and miserable. But I understand some people like that.

Watched the first 2 episodes, it's good. The world building, backstory, makeup and set design are excellent, CGI is good, the storytelling is very good with a few iffy points. Overall I'm enjoying it.

Overall I'm enjoying it. Apparently it takes place on a world that is very dark and gloomy. Someplace where the Sun doesn't shine often, it rains a lot, and it's always cold. And everbody has heavy English accents.

Overall I'm enjoying it. The most attractive character (and possibly the best acting performance) is Imogene. She is the only character on the whole show that is not a doom and gloomy sourpuss. This show is very doom and gloomy.

I just finished season 1. It was a little muddled in the beginning. At times it was slow and depressing. But it picked up towards the end.
I give it a reluctant thumbs up.

The world is interesting but doesn’t feel big enough yet.
It needs more action or it need to stick with mystery. It’s slower as a fantasy action show but not so much as a detective show.
They need at least one writer that does humor.
The sex scenes are not great.
I haven’t seen the finale but so far it’s not bad

It's very soap until the finale so no idea where it's going next. They definitely need to tighten up the writing and make better use of Orlando Bloom next season.

I haven't posted in so long I've forgotten how it works I'm really responding to the comment that Orlando Bloom should do more comedy. I totally agree with this. He was truly funny in The Calcium Kid.
