It's St Meriadoc's day, and he is your patron Saint.
He can cure your migraine, but it is a bit of a hassle... You have to put your head on the bell of his church... which is in France.

I'm having my temporary kidney stent pulled out of me whilst I'm fully awake at 11.00 today, I may have a migraine afterwards.

Painful but only for about ten seconds. Felt like pissing lava. We have both suffered this morning... I went to Friday morning Mass by mistake. I go every Friday, it's normally a very sober Mass, just half a dozen hardcore faithful, and the Priest. Turns out it was a special school Pentecost Mass with the entire Junior School over the road... It went on so long, so much singing, audience participation, and a re-enactment of Pentecost itself.

Do you ever get the high church style latin mass?

Do you ever get the high church style latin mass? Good Lord, no... people round here have enough trouble with English. We do occassionally sing Ave Maria in Latin as an entrance or exit hymn. That's about as far as it goes. The University of Bristol holds a Latin Mass on Sundays... I may go along one Sunday, just for the experience.

What day and what saint is assigned for strokes? And is there a bell somewhere that I can rub to minimize my chances of having one?

You want St. Andrew of Avellino 👍 He'll see you alright, he made it to 88 years old before dying of a stroke whilst celebrating Mass. Feast day... 10th November. No magic bell I'm afraid, just pray to him to protect you from stroking out now and then 🙏 It works... ask Zos ... St. Vitalis got his pisser problem sorted for him 👍 Here is your patron Saint stroking out during Mass, held up by an altar server...

Fr. Ned Kelly
Some of the Catholics on this board feel that you are NOT a Catholic.

Some of the Catholics on this board feel that you are NOT a Catholic. What actual Catholics are they then 🤷 There's me... and well, that's it really.
