Your point....? Why make an analogy to something that is not permitted in your religion? It tends to make such an analogy meaningless. No it doesn't. For one thing, everybody knows what divorce is, regardless what the religion teaches on the subject. Another thing, whether or not a religion allows for it or not, most people agree that divorce is awful. It means that the marriage has failed.

You are the one trying to preach to the unconverted, so you tell me what makes it correct?

Paul's Laugh
I do not think you know what I am really trying to explain. History is being twisted, yes not a new concept, to brain wash the sheeple to hate the Catholics. Reply to him PROPERLY by quoting him and stop being so darn conceited and such a contrarian. And you ARE one of the sheeple.

Just like Catholicism is a 'failure' and has treated people 'awfully', so therefore, the hidden irony is, that your divorce analogy does make some kind of sense. It would be lost on you though, due to hypocrisy.

You are the one trying to preach to the unconverted, so you tell me what makes it correct? I'm not trying to do anything. Rather, it is YOU "the unconverted," that is posting on a message forum, that is all about religion.

Catholicism is not a failure. It exists right to this very day, no matter what happens. For whom does it exist for? And yes, it fails in its beliefs, because it can't prove them. It continues to endure. right down to this very day. It is the largest denomination of the largest religion in the world. You say that it fails in its beliefs, simply because nobody can prove them? You can say that about just about any religious belief. However, they all continue to endure anyway, hence they are not failures. In order for a religion to fail, all of its adherents have to stop believing in it, & nobody to join it. That is not the problem with Catholicism, or Christianity at all.

No, I was talking about YOUR mind. Guess you regard yourself as deluded eh? I am not the religious Catholic one that believes in a miracle holy mother and a supernatural child. Yes, I wonder who is projecting their own delusion. There were hundreds of witnesses to the Resurrection of said Supernatural Child, that were even willing to go to their deaths claiming it, rather than live denying it. Pretty strong stuff for a delusion, if you ask me.
