Thanks for posting this. I love Comet but I never even thought of looking at the website. You're most welcome taylorfirst1 . I agree COMET is an awesome channel indeed . Also since the website has been updated a bit here and there lately . I just thought I would pass this newer schedule along here to anyone who currently has this channel - like you and I here . Enjoy taylorfirst1 it looks like a real good movie selection for this month as well .

I actually have my FIOS Reminder on for this movie - Reptilicus 1961 ( haven't seen this one yet but looking forward to it soon ) . This second movie you mentioned here Gorgo 1961 looks like another good one as well - hope this channel will show it next month like you said here ( surprisingly I haven't seen that one yet either ) . Thanks so much Sulla for your reply .

According to the COMET schedule taylorfirst1 " Reptilicus 1961 " is on this Wednesday ( 4 / 12 ) Reptilicus 1961 COMET Info . So as a suggestion here if you know you might miss this ( and perhaps have a DVR ) just preset it this week for this movie . Then it will be no pressure on " trying to catch it on TV " . So at least all of us will get to see this film very soon . Also whether like me for the first time here or folks like you and Sulla who will get to enjoy this film over again as well . I really enjoy this COMET Channel so many unique choices in classic sci fi or horror films too . Thanks so much taylorfirst1 for your reply .

You're most welcome taylorfirst1 . I just though as a wild guess here you may have a DVR because most folks these days ( but not all of course ) have these handy miracle machines ( which I can imagine is quite convenient indeed ) . Actually I don't have one but I'm most " old school happy " with my DVD Player just the same .

Thanks for posting this--I DVR many of their cheezy old films You're most welcome outrider127 and thanks for your reply . As for COMET's " cheezy old films " nothing says great classic fun flicks like these than with a nice bowl of " mac & cheese " to go with it too . Also don't forget the popcorn and the beverage of choice as well .

I hate commercials so it's hard for me to watch movies that are censored, edited and with long breaks that come up anywhere right when something is about to happen or in the middle of the action or dialog.

I totally agree here WarrenPeace commercials and some movie edits on certain channels with movies or TV series can be a big inconvenience at times indeed . However sadly this is not the only channel that does this on TV these days especially in comparison to some others that are way worse than others ( with one known best exception to me here TCM = Turner Classic Movies unedited and commercial-free during an entire program - which is my #1. favorite channel ) . The SyFy channel for example which continually does with every movie or show split screen & sped up end credits , and with whole scene segments unnecessarily removed from certain shows completely to continue just showing excessively more commercials than need to - very frustrating at times . Of course I will only make one exception with this channel when the Twilight Zone Marathons are on twice a year and will watch this channel then otherwise I hardly ever do the rest of the year . IMPO - If I had to choose between these types of channels ( with less commercials & moderate edits ) to watch a movie or show that I really wish to see on TV . Also knowing I may not see it on the other channels because of it's unique category content to that channel ( or just not being shown on any other channel at all either ) . My choices so far would be - COMET and MeTV . Thanks so much WarrenPeace for your reply .

Yeah, and the crazy thing is, I remember when network TV showed a feature film with the ads, they somehow made it all fit in at 2 hours. Now they take a 2 hour movie and can make it last 3 hours because of the gold dang commercials! Aaaarrrrrgh! Really?

Also definitely appreciate your kind words and your patience with my lengthy replies here as well . Definitely agree with you here too WarrenPeace . Just the other day I was watching one of the epic movies The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring 2001 on the channel FXX . The time listed on the TV Schedule for this film was - 4 hours . Of course I was watching this for background while I was online here etc. and also have this movie on DVD anyway which the total time for it is - 2hrs. 58mins. ( so did this channel just use up an entire extra hour for just commercials ? - that's so crazy and just overly wasteful of a timeslot as well - " I Don't Get It " and perhaps I never will either ) . Thanks again WarrenPeace for your reply .
