Hey, thanks, gang! I am flattered at everyone’s kind words. Yeah, don’t worry about me, I’m just doing some traveling at the moment. Will be back at some point—lots of stuff up in the air and a new job opportunity when I get back to the States, so that’s on my mind too. But I will find some time to post! Thank you for the Avatar-photo-as-clock! Actually heading down to Nice next weekend, just booked it, but last I checked there’s no Midnight in Nice… ( Nice Midnight in Nice? A Little Nice Music? Nice Niece in Nice? I’ll stop now.) Re: Midnight in Paris, though, my hotel’s near the church-steps Owen Wilson sat on in the movie, amusingly enough.

Last night here, I head back to the States tomorrow, so I thought I’d share one of my favorite songs about Paris here. Enjoy!

OK, not to worry the gang here (thanks, everyone!), I’ve been back for a while—busy, but back. I do hope to post some more here at some point…

So, I haven’t been posting much here, but I hope everyone’s doing well! I’m starting with a new job and (as I wrote above) am pretty busy, but I’ll try to chime in when I can. As for France… I had a wonderful time. That last night I was sitting in a little café, not a tourist place at all (not near anything particularly interesting, except for the always-great Paris atmosphere), and listening to French music. It was the Paris of dreams and memories, almost like a feeling of joy. Pure magic. Nora , I know you asked for stories, and I’m happy to oblige… I wandered a fair bit on my own, kept ending up at the Café de Flore (not a bad place to keep ending up), visited a mosque for the first time and ate at the restaurant attached. We climbed up Montmarte to see Sacré-Cœur (as amazing as you’ve heard) and got caught in a terrible rainstorm that came out of nowhere and eventually sent us to a fancy restaurant where we just ordered drinks and got snooty looks from the waiters. Thank God I know French, especially for a terrible run-in with a laundromat. We also went to Nice, Brussels, and Bruges—Bruges surprised me, as I’d never heard of it before, but it’s a fantastic little town. Just the tip of the monthlong iceberg, but it was one of my favorite trips, and I can’t wait to go back.

You were cloned. The real Salzmank is gone, and you're a clone who thinks he's the real Salzmank. The only problem with it is.....are you important enough for someone to go to all that trouble?
