Wait, I had no idea that SRK had balls to show himself beating up BJP workers on screen (for all practical purposes).
What a legendary badass. I truly respect him for Raees.
And the movie is better than anything SRK has done since CDI.

The movie was ruined when mahira khan enters the frame. I loved the scene when srk says"teri jeb khali thi maine bhar di, tune hawa nikali ab tu hawa bhar, maar phoonk hawa bharna". Nawaj was just wasted in the movie.

The movie is just okay and surely shows some sort of secular messiah of the common people who started out as a bootlegger. I am not liking it that much, but it's still better than the abysmal movies done by SRK. I am also wondering how come SRK was spared even after those scenes in the movie. There was no backlash against him for the movie, but just because of casting maahira Khan. Nawaz just delivered a standard performance and collected a paycheck. |

themanwithnoshame i just watched it for an hour. I tried watching it again but i couldn't watch it when the boring romance began. I haven't watched the scene you are talking about. I will try to watch those scenes. These days anything against BJP can be the biggest crime in this country. Anyways i am happy with mamta didi's rules and regulation where we can have meat and booze without any problem. It will take atleast more than 10 years for BJP to even get 20% of votes in bengal.
