i saw the gloria bar on our local news... not gonna lie, i ththought it was weird as fuck but there are steelers and packers bars here, you know, for losers to hang out in This is them dude.
The Mummers Parade is a very quirky event - but is Philly to wind down the Holiday Season and celebrate New Years.
Been around for ages upon ages.
Very popular here and reason for the city to come out early and celebrate New Years and have a few beers to kickoff the New Year.
another team (city) stops into your dive corner bar (social club) - you disrespect your own city and their team and become a sports themed bar who's city is located halfway across the United States - and you're in South Philly?
It's amazing the pub this has gotten - to each their own - I'm embarrassed it happened in Philly despite the Orange and Black being on rough times for years.

I liked seeing Craig Berube hoist the cup Former coach and tough guy enforcer for the Flyers terrific. congrats i'd vomit if Boston won another title (but - going with my theme that it makes the next year interesting when you're 'rivals' are good - hmmmmmmmmmm- Beantown is only a rival when it comes to celts / sixers

i'm ashamed this had to happen in my city.
perhaps we can take a time capsule of this event - and send it to Jupiter - and future generations can learn.....

i'm rather ashamed to be a member of the Sports Board at this point. I guess you dolts don't know what it means to have city pride or maybe - it's just that your city sucks

I mean where do we draw the line folks?
a Redskins Bar in downtown Dallas?
UNC Bar in Duke?
a Lakers Bar in downtown Beantown?
this is a giant government conspiracy...……….
I know what you're up to Trump!

I would love to hear a Glaswegians perspective on this. I'm pretty sure any Ranger themed bar in Celtic territory or vice versa wouldn't be there by morning.

Get out of my city!

You also live in Pennsylvania - - and yet you root against your state university. That's treason. You also live in the United States - - but you care more about your city than your country. Well I for one am not going to sit here and listen to you badmouth the United States of America!

No - I route against Penn State - because your 'God' covered up a child molester - and it sickened me beyond belief a$$hats here who had no affiliation to Penn State would route for them .
Sh*t - Ok I guess because you live in Florida, California, Alaska, Hawaii, Ohio, Wyoming - yo should 'root' for that 'State'
I mean - I guess if you're graspin' for straws

I find it hysterical 'The Cult' doesn't get it to his day.
F*ck - you call me a part of a cult for loving the Process and The Sixers.
You reference Penn State - and all these years later - you still don't get it.
You're the biggest Cult in the Universe. Even if I went there and got my degree there - I'd never utter their name again.
Shit dude - your iconic Head Coach covered up a scandal of kids being abused.
I'd literally just torch that diploma unless they never played football again - they should have gotten The Death Penalty.
Cue Goodman.

I went to James Madison University. Not an alumn. But it was the state that I lived the first 30 years of my life in.
Greatest victory of any team I've ever rooted for: Penn State over Miami in the 86 Fiesta Bowl. Vinny Testeverde picked five times! Let's all revel in the greatness of that game!

Didn't you go to some rinky dink school like Muhlenberg? You're a townie. Born live and die in a fifty mile radius of the same place - - just like people in the 1700s.

By the way, Hinkie is looking more like a dope every day. Raptors just won a championship without one lottery pick. Trust the process.

Mummers are nothing but fags, racist, and drunks. Philly or St. Louis, what's the difference, both 5th rate cities.
