Do you yourself think the Los Angeles Lakers will be a Playoff Team in 2020.....YES or NO ?
For me, My own Answer is Not Only No.....It is HECK NO!!!
The only thing the Lakers have right now are 3 Good Players (LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Kyle Kuzma) which is NOT enough to get them to the Playoffs.
What does everybody else here think ?

Putting myself out there with a “yes” vote.
Given what they’ve added and what they’re sure to add over the course of the summer, and in a weakened conference to boot, yes they’ll make the playoffs.

No. I predict utter chaos. Will be fun to watch though. Yeah, I voted "No" as well.
LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Kyle Kuzma are not enough to even make the Lakers a Contender for the Playoffs.
Plus if either James or Davis get injured then that's it!

Yes. LeBron can't waste another year at this point in his career, and they didn't get Davis for no reason. They'll make another big move somehow and at least make the playoffs.

I would not go after another star. Use that money to go after 'respectable' players to fill out your team. R. Rubio will be available. Yes - I know he doesn't have a shot - but is a decent defender and can distribute. Distribute to another shooter - i.e. my next pick - go after JJ Redick (would hate to see him leave - want him on our bench as the 6th man) - then go after either a decent 3&D wing - Terrence Ross or Danny Green - or a respectable 'Big'. I just don't know how'd they'd roll with 3 stars, Kuzma - and then trash. Spread out the money. Which is why I won't necesarrily panic if Butler or Harris sign elsewhere (I want them back) - but we could spread out that money too to get some of the above and build a decent bench and 2nd Unit.

Denver, Portland, Utah, LA Clippers, New Orleans, Dallas, Sacramento, and Memphis
OKC, Golden State, Houston, San Antonio and the Lakers all miss out.

you're last point is also key. james is getting older. didn't he miss a lot of time with his groin injury last year. davis is a walking china doll. correct me if i'm wrong - isn't AD a free agent after this year? so i'm assuming the plan is to lock him up long term during the year? what if by the trade deadline - things are how they were last year and one if not both go down and it becomes a disgruntled team? didn't dwight want out of LA because of Kobe and not want to sign longterm?

Lebron, AD and Iggy? They'll make the playoffs. 8th seed. And get knocked out. But they'll make it. Let's just see if they understand what "bench players" mean.

Yes, but only if Lebron and AD can play 70+ games. It's not that hard to reach the playoffs in the NBA. A .500 record could get them in as an 8th seed. If they were in the east they'd be a shoe in but I still think they can do it but will be a low seed.

Smith Apparently, Memphis is Not Interested in giving Andre Iguodala a Buyout and is currently seeking Trade Opportunities for him instead so.....so much for that idea!

It still really depends on where he gets traded though, it may be to a team that he would want to stay at.
