The dreary and interminable Endgame is the only 2019 film I have seen so far. There's been so little of any appeal but Parasite is opening here next week, so I'm excited for that.

Booksmart/John Wick 3 I actually forgot about John Wick 3. I edited my OP to include it. Dragged Across Concrete was a wonderful surprise. Not only one of the best movies of the year so far, but one of Mel Gibson's best movies in general. At nearly 3 hours I was never once bored and the social commentary is handled in a very unique and intelligent way.

Have you seen Brawl in Cell Block 99? Vince Vaughn and Don Johnson are excellent in that movie.

There are a few more interesting releases coming up, I think and - on the arthouse side - some of this years Cannes bunch looked promising, so hopefully things will pick up. My partner and I did offer to bring our nephew to watch Aladdin last night but he declined, saying that it's 'for girls'. So that would have been one more seen.

Dragged Across Concrete (2018-2019) - 6/10 (a mild Thumbs Up)
