And the old fashioned basic plan is in no danger of being replaced. But remarks like yours here feed the bigoted notion that welcoming others to also take part poses a threat. What do you want me to do, bake you a cake? 1. I'm not a baker. 2. Asking people with whom you obviously have strong differences to prepare your food is not plan I would use. I haven't even hinted I want anything from you. You said what you think. And I said what I think of what you said. That's all there is to it.

I haven't even hinted I want anything from you. You said what you think. And I said what I think of what you said. That's all there is to it. Maybe not you personally. Actually I very much respect some of the work people in same sex unions are doing. Marriage was ruined before they happened along. 'No fault" divorce laws that began about 50 years ago and quickly spread have made marriage totally meaningless. When homosexuals say, "Hey look at us, we're just as married as you are!," it is funny in a bizarre way because it's true. Their marriages do mean as much as Donald Trump's anyway. They are bringing that to public attention. And I really don't expect government to restore marriage to its former meaning. Government is what destroyed it in the first place. Originally marriage was a promise to never need government intervention in family affairs, now it appears a promise to follow what government says, as if that fixes everything. Government does not.
