Wow. It is never cold in New Orleans in June. In fact, it hailed here one July. That was a surprise.
Definitely some kind of climate change whatever the cause. It used to be hot and warm by march or so--now, since around 2010, it has often been amazingly cold through May and June.
I recall one recent summer where it was cold and rainy through to the end of July.
We just had a freak June "cold front" come through here. Instead of the it being in the 90s and 80s. It was in the 80s and 70s. Brrrrrrr !!!

Actually many parts of the Southern Hemisphere never get cold. Like close to the equator. But I was asking specifically where the poster was where it is a bit cold. Fair enough, just meant there are a lot of places in the Southern Hemisphere that are pretty cool now. Turns out he was still in the North.

I open my windows when the weather is nice. Just for a few hours though.

Once in a while during those brief periods between Summer and Winter when I'm not running the AC or heater. People in Florida don't generally open their windows. Even with a screen it's an invitation to all sorts of pests such as ants, flies, mosquitos, termites, maybe even Florida Man. Yep, all true!
