'Best shot' is all that any player could hope or wish for. :-) The male version of the LIVING IT UP we had last week, isn't it. I'm glad that I'm about to leave for my Easter vacation.

I'm gonna try to participate and if I can I will also try to get more than 1 right answer. I already know Robert Montgomery's job in a certain movie so that's a shoo-in!

That's the one, Volver ... wait a minute -- you're leaving? And BEFORE the contest starts?? And you're GLAD you are Yes, I'm glad as your last post sounded so discouraging.

Just as long as I don't have to watch a certain set of brothers as garbagemen. Would have thought you'd like that since their father is on your ava Love of the father doesn't always translate to love of the sons. I have only really talked to one of Martin's kids: his second son, Ramon. He was backstage when a Brit friend who wanted to meet Martin after a performance of "The Subject Was Roses." Ramon is very nice, just like his Dad and was there to drive his dad home that night. Wish I could figure out how to post pictures with my iPad, as I took a few that night.

I was just kidding which I guess you know 😊 Recently rewatched The West Wing since it's among my top 5 series and Martin is more than great in it. Read in another thread (the watch-last-week thread) that one great poster wished that Sorkins baby The American President was the real thing instead of what we have in real life, I wished it was Sorkins The West Wing instead. About the pictures, you have to upload them to something like Photobucket or similar first and then use the url for the image and paste it in after you've selected the image-button among the buttons above the messagebox.

I have an idea for a smash hit summer blockbuster,, mattgarth It's about a Quizmaster working away late into the night and early into the morning, wearing his fingers to the bone typing, typing, typing with no thought of reward other than the happiness of others.

@mattgerth There could have a contest to cast MAD MATT with classic actors. There would be a nationwide vote for casting the starring role of the beloved, tough but kindly (and incredibly devious) QM. Who would play which game player? Won't distract you from your QM duties just now. Don't want to be the cause of any of those rare GarthGaffs.

"Go for the closest lookalike -- Brad Pitt. "
Pitt's too jowly and these days, rather too tired and haggared looking to play the cool and always in control, QM.
Somehow I picture the QM as looking more like that nice young Montgomery Clift fellow. Perhaps you've heard of him ? He's been in a couple of rather good films.
