The Pack -- I started re-watching Buffy recently on Netflix, and it's been so long since I've seen season one. I'm actually gearing up to watch the episode Angel now

last episode of season 3. I rewatched the first three seasons after a gap of many years. Still found them highly enjoyable. Not sure whether to rewatch the later seasons which i didn't enjoy as much.

Passion from Buffy...still a great episode! You're Welcome from Angel, still love that one too!
Although I did watch The Pack a few days ago after not seeing it for ages, and I was surprised at how good it was! Nick Brendon was great and it had just the right amount of horror without going overboard.

I used to consider it one of the worst Buffy episodes, but I've just reassessed my rating -- I didn't like it as much as you but I definitely think I was wrong about it. It was pretty decent, and definitely one of the better S1 episodes.

Watched Angel on it's 20th anniversary of airing on TV. That was cool; I was looking through the air dates and saw that this episode (my favorite from BtVS S1) was the next one in the anniversary viewing order. It worked out nicely.

I just watched The Trial yesterday morning. I actually cried a little at the end (which is weird, because all of my previous tears were Fred and Wesley and nothing on BtVS). It's a really great, underrated episode. David and Julie are fantastic.

Yes, Nile and Raimo47, The Trial is my favorite Angel S2 episode and is definitely underrated. It almost pains me to choose it over Darla, which is fantastic, but this episode holds a special place in my heart because it made such an emotional impact on me when I first saw it and still does. It not only encompasses one of the (if not the most important) themes of what Angel (both show and character) is about: saving someone's soul because it is right/worth saving, but has themes of redemption, second chances, of being a champion, fighting the good fight, etc. all packed into this one episode. Both Julie and David are wonderful in this episode!
Last episodes I watched: Buffy: Go Fish Angel: To Shanshu in LA

Just finished season 2. I might not have time to get to season 3 for a couple weeks but I'm looking forward to it (one of my favorite seasons).

Two nights ago: I Only Have Eyes for You. Last night: Offspring.
Tonight, I plan to watch Quickening and Lullaby (I hope). I love this arc and one of my favorites.
My favorites of season 2 are actually Reunion and Reprise, but Darla and The Trial both rate highly. Season 3's pregnant Darla and Wesley betrayal arcs are actually my favorites in the whole show, though. Though, I'm also one of those rare people who love the Angel/Connor story. The Bangel(us) arc is forever my #1, though. I did watch Surprise fairly recently.
My dad is in the hospital with a major stroke (happened Monday) and just had brain surgery, so... My life is pretty upended. This is his second stroke and at the moment he's paralyzed on his left and can do little more than squeeze his right hand, wiggle his right foot and gesture non-verbally (though, apparently, he just opened his eyes slightly again). They did just remove the breathing tube and now he's breathing on his own as of today. All day at the hospital with my mom and half-siblings. I've been watching a few episodes as familiar comfort food at the end of the day lately to help fall asleep.
