what do you think would be the magic/fantasy part of the ending? Would Atlantis be found under water or in some hidden place on land?

I think it’d have to be on land. I don’t know what Indy could do underwater that’d be fast-paced and exciting.

In the comic book Fate of Atlantis, the city was located in an underwater cavern(?) of some such that was only accessible by submarine or in this case a Nazi U-boat. I would prefer an underwater setting, or something subterranean akin to a Hollow Earth. That could be exciting as a slight update of a typical Jules Verne story.

Ford has always been adamant about doing everything old school with Indy, his own stunts, showing Indy's age etc.
The dude is going to be close to 80 before they finish this movie.....so sorry, I'm not expecting all that much "fast paced excitement". If Ford had wanted to make more Indy movies he should have done it in the 90s. Too late now.
If someone else plays Jones it's a different story, but I don't think too many people would be interested in that. I wouldn't.

He was 66 when Crystal Skull released. He wasn’t doing anything back then either, but there’s plenty of fast paced action. Not necessarily all good action, but it’s there. And I would assume he’ll be taking more of a hands-off approach with his usual method of physical acting considering one beat per minute too much could put him in a coma (or worse).

There's a world of difference between 66 and close to 80 and he was too old to be slugging it out with guys the last time around.
Have you seen him lately? I love Ford and Indiana Jones but they waited too long. He's too damn old. Nobody wants to see an 80 year old Indiana Jones.

I agree to an extent with the last part. It’s not a necessary movie whatsoever and obviously they don’t have many ideas for it anyway.
