Thought about it... I would ask "Is the universe infinite?" Either a yes or no would fuck with my head 😬 Would an "I don't know" be any more satisfying?

I already don't know... and either a definite yes or no from Himself, I would have trouble processing. Perhaps I should ask something else instead 🤔

I would ask what is my reason for being here. After fifty-four years I still don't know for certain. I would ask your parents that, not God.

If you can keep your head when all about you, are losing theirs and blaming it on you.....

Since there is nothing to know, there is really nothing to ask.

My mother never said anything to me about the decision to bring another child here, but a little before his death my father told me an interesting story. Well, let's just say it was interesting to me and not necessarily interesting to anyone else. It still doesn't explain why God allowed it, nor why I'm still here after all the times I could have died just as easily.

If you believe God allowed it, just accept it then, since God is an aspect of your belief of mind. He or It would have allowed it for a reason. If one doesn't believe in a religious God, then this question need not be asked.

WTF are you doing here if you have an aversion to irrelevant and moot questions? I posted a thread on the Science board. More than a week later and it's still sitting there with no replies. Your and your kind are here only to heckle and ridicule and dictate thought.

No, that's garbage, because if it had been left up to me I wouldn't have allowed it.....not without a reason that MAKES SENSE TO ME.

I am responding to a question asked of me and giving my feedback on how I perceive the question. I don't believe in a Christian God, I didn't think one had to, to comment on here.
As for your thread, since it was you that posted it, it's not surprising no-one responded. Move it to another board then, if you are so desperate for attention.

You are here for a reason\purpose, as we all are. You have no choice to accept this fact, even if you don't approve of it. The majority of humans breed to have children, so that is just the way it is. This is largely founded on religious notions anyway, to populate the earth abundantly. Blame the wrongheaded notions of religion and what's in scripture, if you aren't happy with this. Take another path or route otherwise, because the one you are following, is obviously not working for you....

Perhaps I should ask something else instead 🤔 Well, true. But many think God should have the answer. It might be mind-blowing for some to realize God isn't omnipotent...or even all that smart. He might just be a good technician and a tinkerer.

We may not like the answers to what we want questioned and if we knew them, living with them might make it way too disturbing and unbearable. We are here to live into the answers that we think surround our lives, but what is the answer we really want to know? If we connect with all and everything, then there is no need to question, because we are a facet of all and everything.
