SAVE FERRIS one of my good friends was a prosecutor in NY who has taken down some pretty big names in the mob and has told me stories that i am not at liberty to share here but i always ask him after i watch a mob movie what he thinks and he tells me what the reality is like (and mostly how disgusted he is with the movie industry fetishizing of mobsters). i myself a met a member of a pretty powerful crime organisation a few times and he was trying to convince me to sell drugs for them. but none that were members of the cosa nostra. that i know of anyway  edit: and he always had several girlfriends at his place at the same time and a few prostitutes as well, some of which seemed to be living with him and available to party guests, that part seemed very movie like except the girls were not as super hot as the movies would have you believe... |

So in your former career as a brilliant attorney you not only were close friends with a powerful NY DA (who you mention but can't repeat any of his exploits or any of the names of who he arrested because why exactly?) you also hung out numerous times with a high ranking member of an organized criminal enterprise that controlled drugs in a large part of the country. This "pretty powerful crime organisation" was heavily recruiting you to sling drugs for them because middle aged female Belgian lawyers/internet critics/hand models/ambassadors are where most people go to score dope, right?  To answer the op, if by mob you mean those fat greasy shit stupid guidos called the mafia then no. Their reach never extended past a few states on the east coast. They basically are just garbage collectors that terrorize gutless morons in a handful of sewer cities in the northeast these days. I do love a good mob movie or tv show tho.

"i myself a met a member of a pretty powerful crime organisation a few times and he was trying to convince me to sell drugs for them." ; because if you were a lawyer, I would imagine you were around others of similar stature, and I can't see some drug dealer type trying to get someone to sell drugs for them if your in a room of similar like people as I would imagine they would generally target people of lower income for that kind of stuff since those people will be more likely to do it for spare cash etc, not some room with lawyers and other respectable types of people there as it would seem risky from the criminals point of view to approach people that they are not sure if they can trust etc. I am speculating a bit here, but you get the gist of it p.s. for the record... Amazingly enough a drug dealer, even one who wasn't a high ranking member of a large criminal organization, most likely wouldn't try repeatedly to recruit a lawyer who not only is not in the drug scene but also is friends with NYC DA. It's insulting IMO that she doesn't even put any thought into the lies and still questions why you would dare doubt her. Even the TINIEST bit of logic applied to nora's endless number of boastful stories prove she is not just lying more often than not, I now fear she may be a pathological liar. There is a thread about doing stand up on this board and earlier this evening I posted asking where nora was because I was sure not only would she claim stand up comedian was yet another of her hundreds of former jobs but she would also claim she was successful at it and then smugly give advice about it. Sure enough she did exactly that. She claims she only played clubs here in the US but in Europe she was drawing large crowds in large venues. Soccer stadiums no doubt. I honestly think she is unable to stop lying at this point. Now she's so used to posters buying into her amazingly transparent fairy tales, when you mention you've grown skeptical she panics and wants to know how you figured it out. I'm stunned that as outlandish as her claims are no one other than me ever calls her on the bullshit. She not only claims to have had dozens of glamorous jobs, she also was always successful and in demand in every job BUT is always unable to provide a link or picture or anything at all in any way that can even slightly prove even ONE of her claims is true. Maybe everyone is humoring her for some reason and she does shamelessly flirt and suck up to a lot of posters so maybe that has something to do with it as well. I'm with you tho. I HATE it when someone is a liar. You always have to assume they are lying once you notice and they are also insulting your intelligence. Nora has nothing but contempt for the intelligence of Americans as she has said numerous times and her preposterous fabrications prove it. On the other hand, the fact so many Americans on this site believe her makes me question their intelligence too. It's quite the conundrum.

I know why poelzig thinks I am lying but due to the way he communicates its not meaningful to me. But while you and I dont agree on things sometimes (God for example  ) I know you like to analyze things and go into detail so I wanted to know what makes you say that. And yes, you speculate. And as it happens when one speculates, one does not always get things right. a) I was not a lawyer at that time yet. I was a law student however and went to the police academy. the guy knew that. b) as a lawyer you might actually be positioned well within a group of rich high performing people and if you can get someone on the inside of the circle you can build a decent distribution channel. lawyers and showbys peole also often mix and are likely to buy. c) he knew I knew some rich party people and business owners and some of them were known to use drugs and he knew I got to go to a lot of higher end parties due to the nature of my job (music club GM). d) the trust? for one i knew his girlfriend and she must have spoken nicely of me. two, I have been to his party before where literally heaps of coke were being passed around and although I was the only one who didnt do any that night I guess I was deemed trustworthy enough . e) I politelly turned down his offer and went to the cops after and fearfully offered my help. It came out they were already after this guy and not long after his whole branch was arrested. I think he died in prison. so... you cant know if i am lying or not of course. i would recommend to think holistically about how and what I communicate and not give in to the temptation to speculate and give less ear to the aggresively and emotionally formed statements of one other imdb member. but then again. this may be a liar trying to manipulate you, right? who knows . i guess its up to you and everyone to make their own judgement. all the best. |
