Next friendly is up at 2pm v St Pats LFC had a 6 niller v Tranmere the other night with Brewster(please God/Klopp give him and Wilson a squad number this season)scoring 2. Next up for them is Bradford tomorrow. Always surprised at how short the EPL offseason is compared to American sports. Especially with how Summer flies by, it feels like last season just ended and here we are on the cusp of a new one.

I feel the same way about MLB. Maybe because the NFL season is getting into serious business by the time the World Series ends, the winter seems to fly by before the Super Bowl has concluded, the Patriots have another ring, and baseball's spring training is already starting.

For me it always came down to how much I liked the sport. Basketball offseason seemed to last forever despite being in the summer, and baseball always seemed to start immediately after it ended despite it being winter (in New England nonetheless). One of the upsides to winter for me as a kid was no baseball highlights on sportscenter.

Just went home from Real Madrid vs Tottenham and Bayern vs Fenerbahce as my company had free tickets for both matches. I was the only one, who stayed till the end as Bayern was already leading 5-0 after the first half.  Is this geoblocked outside Germany? |

No matter though I don't want to see it especially. Where were the matches played? Allianz Arena. My workplace is near the subway station to the stadium, so we went there by foot.
