Sure, as long as there are no liberals. If that it how you really feel then I guess that that means you'll be joining either the Borg or the Dominion instead.
I'm a Proud Democrat and I would Most Definitely Join Starfleet although I do know that I would still have to leave all of the Politics at home which is fine with me. That is SOME choice. Either join Starfleet and endure the endless PC identity politics of liberals or join the Borg. Or Dominion. How can you tell the good guys from the bad guys?
Actually, if Dems are any kind of real influence there will be no Starfleet. They want to first fix every problem on Earth before we venture out into silly wasteful space.
Which means we will never have anything like a Starfleet.
But that won't stop China from having one and when they dominate space, they will then dominate Earth.
Thanks again, liberals!

I'd love to, but honestly - not on something like the Enterprise. I'd rather work on a space station, that way I could still look at stars as dots, rather than streaks across windows, plus it is a lot easier to arrange visiting family/friends/etc. when you aren't a moving target out in the farther reaches of charted territory. I'd have loved to be someplace like Yorktown (in STAR TREK BEYOND) or the like. But I draw the line at the mini-skirt from the original series- unlike Yeoman Rand or Lt.Uhura, I do not have the legs for it, my legs were made for wearing pants. (Personally, I'd love to be in Starfleet either in the ENTERPRISE era or in PICARD's era).
